I started at a young age with my interest in jewelry; all of my allowance was spent on costume jewelry. I started working at Glover's Jewelry in Payette, Idaho in 1979 and then moved to the San Diego area in 1982. I then started my career at Collison's Diamonds, another AGS firm where I completed all of my GIA and AGS courses. I took over the business in 1996 and the store became Diamond Creations by Ramona.
I am proud to have my store specialize in loose diamonds, colored stones, and custom designs, all the while offering the very best in designer jewelry. Many items that you will find in our showroom are exclusives and one-of-a-kinds that I have either come across in my travels to Antwerp, Belgium, or sought out specifically for our area.
I am a Certified Gemologist Appraiser, recognized by the American Gem Society, a Master IJO Jeweler, and a Graduate Gemologist, as recognized by the Gemological Institute of America.
I am also an active member and board member of the San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce and Member of the El Cajon Rotary Club and enjoy deep sea fishing off the coast of San Diego, scuba Diving, vacations to our home away from home in Belize, reading murder mysteries, and dancing.
